After touring
the Phoenix Gold Mine you are welcome to pan
in our stream, enjoy a picnic lunch, or take a mountain hike! No, we
don't
sell miner's grub, but we have picnic tables for you to bring along
your
own! Spend the day in the rustic Colorado mountains, tour the mine, pan
for gold and relax! There are lots of new surprises planned for the
future, be sure and see the Coming Soon page by clicking on the button
below. Plenty of parking and a Bus Turn around, for your
convenience.
Gold pans are supplied for your use while at the Phoenix.
** Note: We do not have electricity for Credit Cards - Checks,
Travelers Checks and Cash only. Reservations for groups over 30
required. See the Main Menu for more information. A few other pointers
about visiting the Phoenix: 1. We do not have drinking water so be sure
and bring some! 2. It is 45 to 50 degrees in the mine, year round, even
in July and Aug., you will probably want to bring a jacket! 3. Cameras
and camcorders are welcome at the Phoenix! 4. Check the Planning
